  • We Say...

An odds n' sods collection from electro-pop leftfielders The Chap, Builder's Brew has some b-sides, some remixes and even a (stark, odd) cover of "What's Love Got to Do With It" by Tina Turner. EP opener "Proper Rock" is an immediate highlight, with chiming guitars giving way to the more-standard-Chap of simple synths and cheeky, Sparks-esque vocals. The cream of the remix crop here is clearly the Joakim mix of "Ethnic Instrument" — it's an immediately satisfying, elastic electro-funk tune you shouldn't miss.
